Council of Canada (SCC)
The
Standards Council of Canada is a federal Crown corporation
with the mandate to promote efficient and effective
standardization. Located in Ottawa, the Standards Council
has a 15-member governing Council and a staff of approximately
70. The organization reports to Parliament through the
Minister of Industry.
Information
Technology Association of Canada (ITAC)
ITAC
is the voice of the Canadian information technology
industry. Together with its partner organizations across
the country, the association represents 1,300 companies
in the computing and telecommunications hardware, software,
services, and electronic content sectors.
ITAC's mission is to identify and lead on issues that
affect our industry and to advocate initiatives, which
will enable its continued growth and development.
Radio
Advisory Board of Canada (RABC)
The
Radio Advisory Board of Canada provides broadly based,
unbiased and technically expert advice to the Government
of Canada and to the industry on all matters regarding
the management and use of the radio frequency spectrum
in Canada.

Standards Association (CSA)

The Canadian Standards Association is a not-for-profit membership-based association serving
business, industry, government and consumers in Canada and the global marketplace.
